Julianne Moore Stars in 'Seventh Son'

On the heels of her Screen Actors Guild award for Still Alice, Montauk’s Julianne Moore has a new movie coming out this Friday, the fantasy adventure Seventh Son.

“In a time of enchantments when legends and magic collide, the sole remaining warrior of a mystical order travels to find a prophesized hero born with incredible powers, the last Seventh Son,” the plot synopsis states.

Moore plays the witch queen Mother Malkin and the cast also includes Ben Barnes as protagonist Thomas Ward, Jeff Bridges, Alicia Vikander, Kit Harington,  Djimon Hounsou and Antje Traue.

The film is directed by Sergei Bogrov and based on the book series The Last Apprentice by Joseph Delaney.
