Dedication of the Tom Twomey Gallery at East Hampton Library
It was a historic day at East Hampton Library on Saturday, April 18, 2015, as several major celebrations were combined into one. The library’s board members, friends and family gathered in the Baldwin Family Lecture Room and the newly dedicated Tom Twomey Gallery to kick off The Tom Twomey Lecture Series, which celebrates the passion of the late library president and chairman for the preservation of our town’s rich history. The contributors to Twomey’s “Revealing the Past,” the last of his edited works, each spoke about Tom. Gina Piastuck, the head of the library’s Long Island Collection, spoke about the incredible contributions and donations he made to the library and to the community
