Darrell Hammond Is KFC's New Colonel Sanders

KFC has revived Colonel Sanders in the form of Darrell Hammond, the Hamptons fan who presents The Darrell Hammond Project at Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor this summer.

Hammond is a former Saturday Night Live cast member—and current SNL announcer—who rose to fame for his many celebrity impressions, among them Bill Clinton and Sean Connery. Now Hammond impersonates the late Colonel Harland David Sanders, founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken, in a series of commercials, web videos and in-store marketing.

He even has a mandolin band.
