75 Main Hosts Kotb, Pelosi, Cheban, Lucci
It was a star-studded weekend for Southampton restaurant and lounge—and Dan’s Taste of Two Forks participant—75 Main as the venue hosted Jonathan Cheban, Hoda Kotb, Susan Lucci, and Nancy Pelosi.
Owner Zach Erdem can be seen on Instagram posing with a long-lost of clients, who include television stars and politicians.
Jonathan Cheban, a Hamptons regular and website founder who is most famous for his friendship with Kim Kardashian, can be seen sporting a T-shirt, shorts, sunglasses and Nike sneakers while sipping on a hot cup of joe at one of the outside tables at 75 Main. This weekend, Cheban was feeling “crabby” as he posed with his crustacean cuisine.
Today Show host Hoda Kotb also grabbed a bite at 75 Main. Earlier in the weekend she and her beau, Manhattan financier Joel Schiffman, dined at Cowfish in Hampton Bays while soaking in the waterfront view. Kotb and Cheban both posed together for a picture at 75 Main.
After dinner at Sant Ambroeus on Saturday night, All My Children’s Susan Lucci, who rocked a flowing leopard print top and fitted white skirt, smiled for the camera and posed alongside Erdem. The actress also called him a “charming and gracious owner.” Lucci was joined by friend Segal Magori and the pair’s husbands for the nightcap.
Magori and Bruce Blakeman celebrated their wedding at 75 Main in May.
Slipping through the back door during the day Sunday, apparently for security purposes, was House Democratic Leader and former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. It seems like Democratic leaders are fans of the Southampton restaurant. Vice President Joe Biden has also dined at 75 Main.
“There were Secret Service everywhere,” said Erdem about the Sunday brunch visit from Biden a few summers ago. “We were packed and didn’t have a table right away. But Mr. Biden had no problem waiting and sat down until a table was ready. I try to treat all my customers with equal value and importance.”
Erdem and Mark Militello, 75 Main’s renowned chef, are no strangers to serving celebrities and locals year-round. Fan’s of 75 Main and Militello can find him this Saturday, July 18, at Dan’s Taste of Two Forks at Sayre Park, presented by Farrell Building Company.
