Amy Schumer, Jennifer Lawrence Bonded in the Hamptons, Not Martha's Vineyard
Good Morning America falsely reported this morning that comic Amy Schumer and Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence “hit it off” vacationing in Martha’s Vineyard this summer.
As Schumer previously explained to Jon Stewart on The Daily Show, she and her friends are banned from Martha’s Vineyard. Where Schumer and Lawrence actually bonded recently was the Hamptons—as Schumer documented on Instagram.
Lawrence said she fell in love with Schumer after seeing her film Trainwreck. They began emailing back and forth and that led to texting, and eventually Lawrence agreed to join Schumer on a girls weekend in the Hamptons. Now the two are co-writing a movie with Schumer’s sister, Kim Caramele.
