Dick Cavett, Nelson DeMille, Katie Lee Heading To Author's Night

Book lovers are highly anticipating the literary event of the summer, East Hampton Library’s annual Author’s Night on Saturday, August 8. The evening brings over 100 authors under a tent at Mulford Farm in East Hampton to celebrate the written word.

It all begins with book signings hosted by co-chairs Alec Baldwin and Barbara Goldsmith and with Honorary Co-Chairs Ed Burns, Robert A. Caro, Dick Cavett, Tom Clavin, Nelson DeMille, Christina Baker-Kline and Lynn Sherr followed by a series of private dinners.

We spotted many local authors on the list this year including our own Dan Rattiner, Dan’s Taste of Summer hosts Katie Lee and Marc Murphy, Arlene Alda, Jonathan Adler, Fern Mallis, Charlotte Moss, Simon Doonan, JZ Holden, Phil Keith and Wednesday Martin to name but a few. Also in the mix will be Carlo DeVito, Dr. Ruth K. Westheimer and Betty Halbreich.
