Paul McCartney Performs 'Santa Claus Is Coming to Town' on 'SNL'

Though Hamptons fan Bruce Springsteen was the official musical guest on this past weekend’s Saturday Night Live, along with the E Street Band, Amagansett’s Paul McCartney made a cameo too.

Sir Paul joined Springsteen, hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, SNL alumna Maya Rudolph and current cast members in performing “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.”

Springsteen’s rock version of the classic Christmas song was released as a B-side to his 1985 “My Hometown” single. It was recorded 10 years earlier during a concert at C. W. Post College in Brookville.
