In this video, Sag Harbor celebrity chef, restaurateur and lifestyle guru B. Smith and her husband Dan Gasby discuss their new book, Before I Forget: Love, Hope, Help, and Acceptance in Our Fight Against Alzheimer’s (Harmony, 2016), which chronicles their relationship and struggles with Smith’s Alzheimer’s disease. The book was released on Tuesday, January 19 and has been getting excellent reviews for its candor about living with Alzheimer’s, as patient and caregiver, and for Smith and Gasby’s inspiring love story.
