Dan's GrillHampton 2016 Newcomers: Shake Shack, Topping Rose House and More
Dan’s GrillHampton, the East End’s exciting grilling and tasting event by Dan’s Papers, has evolved into a who’s who of grillmasters, and will once again feature some of the best chefs from NYC and the Hamptons in the ultimate country versus city grill-off in summer 2016. This year, some exciting newcomers from both the Hamptons and NYC, including city fan fave Shake Shack, are entering the GrillHampton ring on Friday, July 22. Here are the newcomers announced so far.
NYC
Shake Shack
Established in 2004 in Madison Square Park, Shake Shack has gone from one food cart to massive international success everywhere from the United Kingdom to Japan. Shake Shack has a menu of delectable burgers, hot dogs, milkshakes and custards that have been developed by Culinary Director Mark Rosati. It remains to be seen if Shake Shack can help defeat the Hamptons, but either way, guests are in for a real treat. shakeshack.com
Altamarea Group
Owned by partners Ahmass Fakahany and Chef Michael White, the Altamarea Group comprises 15 different restaurants throughout the world. Last year, Altamarea Group’s restaurant Costata competed.
