Jerry Seinfeld, Jimmy Fallon Up for Webby Awards

East Enders have been nominated for the the 20th Annual Webby Awards. The Webbys, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, recognizes excellence on the internet. Categories cover everything from website design to video and performance. Amagansett’s Jerry Seinfeld has been nominated for Best Web Personality/Host for his hilarious Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, which was nominated for Best Comedy: Long-Form or Series. Sagaponack’s Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon has received a nod for Best Overall Social Presence.

Both Seinfeld and Fallon have previously won Webby Awards. Seinfeld won the 2013 Special Achievement: Outstanding Comedic Performance, while Fallon won the 2009 Special Achievement: Person of the Year. Check out Fallon’s iconic acceptance speech:

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee is a series in which Seinfeld and another celebrity (usually a comedian) go for a cup of coffee and a ride in a classic car. See a clip of Fallon and Seinfeld taking a ride below:
