Annual D-D-D Gala Raises Money for Southampton Fresh Air Home

On Saturday June 4, the 24th Annual Decorators-Designers-Dealers Sale (D-D-D) and Auction Benefit Gala will be held to benefit Southampton Fresh Air Home’s 115th year of camp for physically challenged children.

A highly anticipated event ushering in esteemed guests from Manhattan, Connecticut, the East End and other areas, this year’s gala will feature a silent, live and wine auction, and a furnishing and antique sale, all composed of highly sought after items.

The silent and live auction will feature items from top fashion manufacturers, jewelry, fine dining, entertainment, sports items, health and beauty, while the wine auction will feature a selection that will entice any wine aficionado seeking new additions to their cellar.

The furniture and antique sale will feature gently used designer furniture, antique lamps, paintings, framed art prints, fabrics and decorative accessories, all arranged and staged by the organization’s team of designers, and all offered at amazing prices.

Conceived 24 years ago, the D-D-D Gala has served to provide the Southampton Fresh Air Home with 40% of its annual operating budget. With the gala fundraiser, the Southampton Fresh Air Home aims to ensure that no child is denied a summer camp experience because of their inability to pay.

Since 1901, the Southampton Fresh Air Home has been a charitable, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the development of the physical, emotional and educational growth of physically disabled children. The organization’s mission has always been about fostering the self-esteem of the disabled by providing them a recreational summer camp experience.

The D-D-D Gala will take place at the Southampton Fresh Air Home, 36 Barkers Island Road in Southampton. Benefactor Patrons will receive a 5 p.m. preview, with General Admission doors opening at 6 p.m. and lasting until 8:30 p.m. General admission starts at $250 per ticket.
