Dan's Taste of Summer Countdown: Chef Ron Duprat, International Hospitality Consulting
You can meet celebrity Chef Ron Duprat of International Hospitality Consulting at Dan’s Harvest East End, the can’t-miss food and wine classic, on Saturday, August 20, at McCall Vineyard and Ranch in Cutchogue. Duprat shares that, “I started an international hospitality consulting group. It’s built on a commitment to exceed expectations by providing extraordinary food and excellent customer service. International Hospitality has grown into a diversified collection of restaurant concepts, from the flagship Latitudes Restaurant and Cloyde Steak House to more than 20 restaurants. We’re working to develop new, original concepts in North Miami and beyond, while collaborating on the company’s existing menu offerings.” A portion of proceeds from Harvest East End benefits Long Island Farm Bureau and HRHCare.
What fuels your creativity as a chef?
My culinary diplomacy trip to South East Asia. My food is simply fuel for life. Passion for creating and sharing the most delectable culinary experience ever is contagious. My kitchen stadium sizzles with activity and my dishes delight guests.

One of the best concept yet, Chef Eric Ripert is a genius. The East End is fortunate to be a part of such a small but powerful movement working to change the way children eat and the way they think about their food.

A Ruby ’Rita, the Proper Negroni, the Black Buoy
Which of your dishes would you most like to serve to another chef?

How has the gluten-free eating trend affected your menu?
I always go the extra mile to exceed the guest’s expectations—most of my menus are gluten-free.
What are you most looking forward to at Dan’s Harvest East End?
Experiencing the mood of everyone and tasting some of the best food on the East End
