Louis C.K. Announces Spring Standup Tour
Shelter Islander Louis C.K. revealed his spring standup tour to members of his email newsletter and later on his website.
The comedian will start the tour in Baltimore next week before making his way to New Jersey, Connecticut, Chicago and Pennsylvania.
Way to leave us out, man.
C.K. recently announced the ending of his sleeper hit web series Horace and Pete, which he “stealth-released” earlier this year. And word has it that FX’s Louie might not be coming back for a fifth season. C.K.’s production company, Pig Newton, is currently working on several series, including Better Things on FX and One Mississippi on Amazon. Pig Newton also produces Baskets, which FX just renewed for a sophomore season. The complete series of Horace and Pete is available to purchase on C.K.’s website.
But we shouldn’t complain. This past November, C.K. performed a surprise show with East Hampton’s Jerry Seinfeld at Guild Hall. Known for using past performances as inspiration for new material, there’s a chance the lucky East Enders who attended the Guild Hall gig may have seen an early version of what he’s going to be using, or come up in his new shows—not that he’d have any reason to make fun of the Hamptons.
