Michael Strahan's Final 'Live with Kelly and Michael' Episode Airs

It’s the end of an era. After four years as co-host of ABC’s Live with Kelly and Michael, Michael Strahan has completed his final episode. Strahan recently announced that he was leaving Live to join Good Morning America as a co-host. He shared an emotional farewell with East Ender and Super Saturday host Kelly Ripa on Friday’s episode.

There’s no word yet on who will replace Strahan, who replaced original host Regis Philbin in 2012. Ellen Degeneres recently asked East Hampton’s Alec Baldwin if he’d be interested in hosting, and he coyly denied having even heard Strahan was leaving.
