The Market will also be serving coffee by Hampton Coffee, smoothies by Solutions Organic Juice Bar, and Joe and Liza’s Ice Cream. Sunday May 29 will feature a live acoustic set by local artists Job Potter and Friends, and afternoon tastings of local beverages. The Amagansett Farmers Market is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. only on weekends until July, at which point it will be open seven days a week. Find it at 367 Main Street in Amagansett. Visit amagansettfoodinstitute.org for more information.
The Sag Harbor Farmers Market operates on Bay Street every Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through October 29. But this Saturday two of its founding members—Dale Haubrich and Bette Lacina—“Dale & Bette’s Farm”—will be staying “down on the farm” for their blow-out yard sale. The sale runs Friday, May 27 through Monday, May 30, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1726 Sag Harbor-Bridgehampton Turnpike (right next to Bay Burger). If you need a drawerful of old kitchen utensils, a basket, or some old tools, this is the place for you. Of course fresh, organic veggies and preserves will also be on offer, along with a host of vintage collectibles. Very “hippies homesteading in the Hamptons.” See you there!
