Tony Awards 2016: 'Hamilton' Makes Broadway History with 16 Nominations
The 2016 Tony Award nominations have been announced, and to nobody’s surprise, hip-hop/rap musical Hamilton leads the way with a record-shattering 16 nominations. Produced by Sagaponack resident Jeffrey Seller, Hamilton is nominated for every major category and officially has the designation of the most nominations in Broadway history.
