Hamptons Fourth of July Weekend Events: Red, White & Fun
How are you celebrating America’s birthday? There are a ton of events happening throughout the weekend, and fun for all ages. Here are ten great events to help you show off your American pride.

JULY 1
Red White and Bubbly at Palmer Vineyards
From 1 p.m. to 5 p.n. on July 1, enjoy special wine flights of red, white & bubbly as well as holiday foods and events. Salt Fireworks at Quogue Library
From 3–4 p.m. celebrate Independence Day with a special art project using salt, glue and food coloring. Ages 4 and up. Registration is required, please call 631-653-4224 or visit quoguelibrary.org. 90 Quogue Street, Quogue.
American Picnic with Fireworks by Grucci
At 7 p.m. head outside for an evening of Americana. A picnic buffet including ice cream and other treats will be served. There will be carnival booths and games, all on the grounds of this ocean front estate. All proceeds benefit Southampton Fresh Air Home’s 115th year of camp for physically challenged children. JULY 2
Patriotic Tour of Sag Harbor
On July 2, meet at the windmill on Long Wharf at 9 a.m.to take a walking tour of Sag Harbor. Visit battle sites, and important places for war heroes and the history of America. The tour will be lead by historian Tony Garro. Call 631-725-5861 or visit southamptontrails.org to find out more.
Fun for the Fourth Food Painting Event
From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Amagansett Farmers Market, kids can learn how to make prints using fruit and vegetables. Snacks will be provided. Go to amagansettfoodinsitute.org for more information. Amagansett Farmers Market is located at 367 Main Street in Amagansett.
JULY 3
The Southampton Rotary Club Annual Firecracker Run
On Sunday July 3 at 8 a.m. meet up at 25 Pond Lane in Southampton for this favorite 8K run and 3 mile walk event. Pre-registration is $30 per person and the entry fee on race day is $35 per person (registration begins at 6:45 a.m.). For more information, visit firecracker8k.com.
JULY 4
The Southampton Village 4th of July Parade
On Independence Day at 9:30 a.m. head down to Railroad Plaza to join in the 4th of July Parade. The parade continues down North Main Street, Main Street, Jobs Lane, ending at Monument Square at Agawam Park.
Fourth of July Concert under the Marquee with Atlantic Community Band
At 10 a.m. beneath the Patchogue Theatre marquee, the Atlantic Community Band will perform parade and patriotic favorites, including Sousa and Broadway show tunes. No tickets required. 71 East Main Street, Patchogue. Visit patchoguetheatre.org for program information.
Great American Bash at Sloppy Tuna

Montauk Fireworks Dinner Cruise at Viking Dock
