Dave Gahan Hosts Church School Benefit in Montauk

On Thursday, July 21 The Montauket Hotel will hold Art. Music. Party!, a fundraiser for the Church Street School for Music and Art in New York City. The event will be hosted by actress Jennifer Sklias-Gahan and Depeche Mode lead singer/guitarist Dave Gahan.
Art. Music. Party! will be a family-friendly event that will feature music, food and creative art activities for both kids and adults, all while taking in the views of the bay at the Montauket Hotel. There will also be a raffle to win a guitar signed by the members of Depeche Mode or VIP tickets and a studio tour of Late Night with Seth Meyers. All proceeds will go towards the Church Street School.
Montauk rock band Jettykoon is performing, as well as students of the Church Street School for Music and Art, and other special guests. Food will be provided by The Saltbox, a collaboration between Jon Krasner and Chef Danny Ye.
The Church Street School for Music and Arts is a non-profit institution that provides affordable art and music lessons for children and adults throughout the five boroughs. They’re built on a philosophy of allowing children to learn through improvisation and exploration, allowing the children to build confidence in their art.
The Gahans first got involved with the school after their daughter Stella Rose began studying there. Since then, they have become strong advocates for the school’s services to the artistic talents of children and adults throughout the city. Stella Rose and her band will also be performing at the event.
Art. Music. Party! takes place on Thursday, July 21, from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at The Montauket Hotel, 88 Firestone Road in Montauk. Tickets are now available at churchstreetschool.org/hamptons-party/.
