Hamptons Week Ahead: The Fun Continues Beyond the Fourth

It’s a week of Americana here on the East End! Cool off through the week with dinner cruises and beach concerts. Tour local houses, hear some music, and do a bit of good. The week is all about the community coming together, helping each other, and having fun.

Free Concert at Coopers Beach
As part of the Southampton Concerts in the Park series, head to Cooper Beach Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. for a performance of The Lone Sharks.

Thursday, July 7

Taste Long Island: Lobsterbake & Wine Cruise

Sag Harbor House Tour

Walker Cat Video Festival
At 8:3- p.m. at the Southampton Arts Center, view a screening of expertly curated and top of the line cat videos. Over 100 cat videos have been nominated for the categories of Comedy, Drama, Animated, Musical, Action, Vintage and Documentary. ARF will be on site beforehand with their Mobile Adoption Unit. Works in Progress Concerts
At 7:30 p.m. beneath the performance tent of the Perlman Music Program, the finest future stars of the music world will perform various masterworks. This event is free and open to the public, so expect a large turnout, and bring a beach chair or blanket, as the crowd will overflow onto the surrounding lawn. 25^th Annual Bay Street Theater Summer Gala
Join Bay Street for a celebration featuring scenes from past productions, a 25^th anniversary film tribute, cocktails, dinner and a silent auction. Swim Across America
Head to Fresh Pond Beach in Amagansett at 7 a.m. with members of the East Hampton Volunteer Ocean Rescue for a half mile, one mile, or 5k swim to fight cancer. Proceeds benefit Fighting Chance and Swim Across America. Find out more at swimacrossamerica.org.

Alan Cumming at WHBPAC

Contemporaries Signature Summer Party: Champagne Brunch & Art Talk
