'Montauk Chronicles' Creator Launches Instagram Giveaway
Documentary winner at the Philip K. Dick Science Fiction Film Festival last year, the Montauk Chronicles can be yours by entering an Instagram giveaway (see post below) hosted by the writer and director of the film, Christopher P. Garetano.
Presented by Garetano’s White Phosphorus Pictures, Montauk Chronicles tells the tales of mind control, kidnapping, time travel and extraterrestrial encounters that allegedly occurred at the Montauk’s mysterious and no defunct Air Force base, Camp Hero, known to many as The Montauk Project.
The Montauk Project was said to be a government program that kidnapped young teens for various sinister and mind-altering experiments. For his film, Garetano, writer and director of Horror Business, and writer and creator of the South Texas Blues graphic novel, traveled to Montauk and other American locales to gather full reports from men who claimed to have worked on this top-secret project. The documentary records firsthand tales and encounters from Alfred Bielek, Steward Swerdlow and Preston Nichols who state that experiments were conducted on nearly 100,000 people over the course of about 10 years at the Camp Hero Air Force Base in Montauk.
Montauk Chronicles also features animated sequences that are illustrated by Trevor Cook of South Texas Blues, and animated by Will Rot of Trick and The Cartridge Family. The edge-of-your-seat score is composed by Krystal Cordero, and Malea Ramage delivers its unforgettable narration.
To participate in the giveaway simply follow Garetano (@garetano7) on Instagram, like and repost the Montauk Chronicles movie image with the hashtag #montaukchroniclescontest.
