Dan's 44th Kite Fly Rescheduled to Sunday, August 7

Due to weather concerns, this year’s Dan’s Kite Fly date has been changed from Saturday, August 6 to Sunday, August 7.

Join us for Dan’s 44th Kite Fly! Head down to scenic Sagg Main Beach in Sagaponack on Sunday, August 7, and don’t forget to bring your kite! This summer we expect our largest kite flying crowd ever. Don’t miss out. Newsday rated this Hamptons tradition one of the Top 50 Long Island Summer Events.

This year’s event is jam-packed with family fun and entertainment, including face-painting, temporary tattoo artists, live music by Jim Turner and lots more. Bai will be on hand giving out their refreshing water and drinks, Stop & Shop will be handing out healthy fruits, and, of course, everyone will be having fun competing in the ultimate Hamptons kite contest! Enter kites in dozens of categories—which means dozens of prizes! Among the categories and prizes: best homemade kite, most colorful, best nautical kite, and many others.

This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome!

Sagg Main Beach is located at 315 Sagg Main Street in Sagaponack.
