Dan's Harvest East End Countdown: Everyone Loves a Summer Rosé

Every wine lover knows that summer rosés are all the rage. Rosé is so popular that Kelly Ripa mentioned the wine on Live! (and gave Dan’s Papers a shoutout).

So it should come as no surprise that rosé wine is going to have a strong presence at Dan’s Harvest East End, the can’t-miss food and wine classic, on Saturday, August 20 at McCall Vineyard & Ranch. But first, a quick explanation on what exactly constitutes a rosé.

Rosé wine is made by juicing red grapes and letting the skins sit in the juice for a short amount of time until they take on a pink color. The skins are then removed and the juice ferments.

Rosé wine is not made by mixing reds and whites!
