Thursday, September 29
Kathleen King of Tate’s Bake Shop
On Thursday, The Cookie “King” of the Hamptons, Kathleen King, owner of Tate’s bake Shop, will speak at the fall luncheon for the League of Women Voters of the Hamptons. The talk, entitled “Perseverance: The Journey of Kathleen King,” will describe King’s rise to success through hard work and dedication to her vision. Oceans of Hope Mardi Gras Gala
At 7 p.m. head to the Long Island Aquarium for an anniversary celebration. The Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research and Preservation celebrates its 20th anniversary with a Mardi Gras event. Fridays at Four, Tasting and Tour

Saturday, October 1
Bridgehampton Road Rally & Tour d’Hamptons
Presented by the Bridgehampton Museum and Dans’ Papers. Celebrate the racing heritage of the Hamptons with this vintage car show and rally. This year, in addition to the vintage automobile race, attendees are invited to take part on the Tour d’Hamptons, a shortened course of about 40 minutes, for newer cars of interest. Beneath the Main Tent at the Bridgehampton Museum, enjoy a special curated exhibit of Bridgehampton’s racing history, as well as art and discussions about antique cars and their drivers. Hamptons Marathon & Half
At 8 a.m. head to Southampton Village for a marathon, half marathon, and 5K. The course takes place entirely within the village on flat terrain. Visit hamptonsmarathon.com to find out more.
Sunday, October 2
Shinnecock Youth Dance Performance
At 2 p.m. at the Quogue Wildlife Refuge, the Shinnecock Youth Council presents a performance of traditional and contemporary dance. Learn about the culture of the Shinnecock Nation, and join in on a group dance. All proceeds will benefit the Shinnecock Youth.
Fall Sidewalk Sale
From 10 a.m.–6 p.m., head to Westhampton Beach Village for a fall sidewalk sale. Local shops take their wares out into the open air, and offer up fabulous sales for shoppers. Snag some new fall merchandise and support small businesses. Call 631-288-3337 for more information.
