Alan Alda, Nathan Lane and Others Take to the New York Stage

Water Mill’s Alan Alda recently joined actors Nick Kroll and John Mulaney on stage for the premiere of Oh, Hello on Broadway. In the new show, Kroll and Mulaney play two opinionated, 70-something New Yorkers who, among other things, are obsessed with Alda. During the trio’s surprise improv, the actors asked Alda about M.A.S.H., yogurt and other entertaining topics. Oh, Hello can be seen at New York’s Lyceum Theatre through January 8, 2017.
The Front Page, starring Hamptons regular Nathan Lane, opened on Broadway last week. The show explores Chicago’s journalism world in the 1920s. The Front Page plays at the Broadhurst Theatre through January 29, 2017.

Fire Island’s Michael Kors and husband Lance La Pere recently donated $1.5 million to the 50th Anniversary campaign of New York City’s Roundabout Theatre. Said Todd Haimes, the theater’s artistic director and CEO, of the generous gift, “It will ensure that Roundabout can remain at the forefront of American theater.”
