The temperatures are beginning to cool after a fun-filled summer on the East End, and it’s time to begin planning for a brand new season. The 35th Annual Montauk Annual Fall Festival will feature Long Island beer and wine, Oktoberfest-themed food, a free carousel for the kids, a Cash Catch drawing that takes place at the end of the day on Sunday, a farmers market and so much more! The Fifth Annual Westhampton Beach Oyster Festival takes over the Village Marina. With oyster shucking contests, craft brews, and obstacle courses and pumpkin painting  for the kids, it’s a day of delicious family fun. The 41st Annual Riverhead Country Fair is a down-home favorite with hundreds of vendors, food stalls, live music and country fair competitions.
