First Trailer Released for Alec Baldwin's 'Boss Baby'
The first trailer for Amagansett actor Alec Baldwin‘s new animated film, Boss Baby, was released this week.
The film tells the tale of a 7-year-old boy, Tim Templeton, who’s jealous of his “fast-talking, briefcase-carrying” baby brother (Baldwin). Tim goes on a mission to win back his parents’ affection, and learns of a secret plot by the CEO of Puppy Co., his father’s employer, which includes destabilizing the balance of love in the world. The two brothers team up against Puppy Co. to save their parents, restore order and show the true power of love.
While Baldwin plays the titular role, he’s joined by Miles Bakshi (Shrek Forever After) as Tim, Tobey Maguire as older Tim (the narrator), Lisa Kudrow as the mother, Jimmy Kimmel as the dad and Steve Buscemi as the evil CEO. The movie, from 20th Century Fox, is based on a children’s picture book written and illustrated by Marla Frazee, and it’s directed by Tom McGrath (Madagascar, Megamind).
