Hamptons Week Ahead, October 4–October 8

Almond’s Artists & Writer’s Night

Wednesday, October 5
The Tastiest Fall Ever with Chef Rob Scott

Writers Speak with Kim Addonizio
Head to Stony Brook Southampton at 7 p.m. for a free author talk with Kim Addonizio. A poet, novelist and musician, she was a finalist for the National Book Award. Her latest works include Mortal Trash, a poetry collection, and Bukowski in a Sundress, a memoir in essays. A question and answer session will follow a reading of her work.
Thursday, October 6
Women’s EXPO
From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. the Women’s EXPO will provide a marketplace for Long Island craftswomen. It’s a networking opportunity as well as a great chance to support local businesses. Fire art, jewelry, clothing, pottery, glassware and more will be for sale. Sweets, refreshments and music begin at 4 p.m. Women’s EXPO will take place at Middle Country Public Library in Centereach. Author Talk at Diliberto Winery

Annual Harvest Festival in Greenport
Beginning at 9 a.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Greenport, there will be a festival featuring a yard sale, homemade foods and baked goods, children’s activities and much more. Fall Family Festival at Montauk Green
Throughout the day on Saturday, head to the Montauk Green for an afternoon of fall fun. Enjoy a clam chowder contest, pumpkin decorating, face painting, crab races, live music and a free 30 carousel.
