Andy Cohen's New 'Superficial' Book Dishes on Hamptons Celebs

Shelter Islander and Bravo executive Andy Cohen‘s third book of diary entries, Superficial: More Adventures from the Andy Cohen Diaries, is set for release on Tuesday, November 15, and it promises to have some serious dish!

According to The Daily Mail, which got an early peek at the book featuring diaries from September 2014 to May 2015, Cohen talks about his Hamptonite pals Kelly Ripa, Sarah Jessica Parker and Anderson Cooper, and tells some potentially relationship damaging stories about stars who are less close to Bravo’s reality king. Among those stories, the site says Cohen writes about uninviting Real Housewives of New York stars Bethenny Frankel and Carole Radziwill to Cooper’s party in his honor, about Lindsay Lohan using a fake accent during dinner with Frankel and Kyle Richards, and about Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars being “really dosed up on pills” before one of their especially nasty reunion specials.

The Daily Mail also reports Cohen’s retelling of a steamy threesome he had with a married couple, a “beautiful blonde” and a “muscular, tanned mechanic,” and how he shared pictures of the couple with gal pal Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos. Ripa reportedly responds, “Jake’s very handsome and Angela is beautiful and I am very happy for you,” while Conseulos texted simply, “Dude!”

Needless to say, Superficial is looking to serve more dish than even his past two diary collections: Most Talkative: Stories from the Front Lines of Pop Culture (2013) and The Andy Cohen Diaries: A Deep Look at a Shallow Year (2014).

Cohen’s theandycohendiaries.com website notes, “Andy Cohen, with Wacha in tow, is the kind of star that fans are dying to be friends with. This book gives them that chance.” It also shares dates for Cohen’s upcoming book tour, which begins with a Q&A at Palm restaurant (206 West Street) in New York City on the release date: Tuesday, November 15 at 12:30 p.m. The tour continues with multiple dates through Thursday, December 8.
