Celebs Head to the Hamptons for Thanksgiving
Celebs were all over the Hamptons this past week for Thanksgiving festivities and more.
Hamptons regulars Julian Schnabel, Donna Karan, Joy Behar, Bobby Flay, Ronald Lauder, Steve Kroft, Bob Colacello and others attended a screening of Jackie, Natalie Portman’s new film, at Guild Hall in East Hampton last week. Salman Rushdie, Laurie Anderson, Harry Macklowe, Jenno Topping and others also visited Guild Hall over the holiday weekend. The group attended a screening of Hidden Figures, a film that explores African-American women working for NASA in the 1960s.
Steven Spielberg and godson Jake Paltrow caught Allied, Brad Pitt’s new movie, at the UA East Hampton Cinema during their Thanksgiving vacation.
East Hampton’s Martha Stewart appeared on ABC’s The View the day before Thanksgiving to share pie-making tips. The domestic diva has much to be thankful for, including a second season of Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party, which VH1 signed on just three episodes into the first season. So far, guests to the lively dining event have included 50 Cent, Seth Rogen, Wiz Khalifa, Kathy Griffin, Ashlee Simpson and others.
Law & Order star Mariska Hargitay and her husband, Younger star Peter Hermann, hosted their annual Turkey Bowl football game in the Hamptons last week. Participants included fellow South Forkers Alec Baldwin and George Stephanopoulos.
