Three Long Island vineyards will be represented, each bringing four unique and flavorful offerings. Today, we’re looking at the selections from Pugliese Vineyards.
Pugliese Sangiovese: Long Island’s only Chianti – grown in Cutchogue. Light, soft and dry. This light medium bodied wine is perfect for veal, pasta and Italian Cuisine
Pugliese Cabernet Franc: Softer than Cabernet Sauvignon, this rich red wine has flavors of black cherry that match well with meat, stew, poultry and pasta.
Pugliese Late Harvest Riesling: Light and sweet with peach like flavors. The perfect accompaniment to peach or berry desserts, or a dessert all by itself.
Pugliese Blanc de Noir: Totally dry, a little salmon in color and 100% hand-picked Pinot Noir. This is a limited production of a French style Champagne.
