Julianne Moore Appears in 2017 Pirelli Calendar

Montauk’s Julianne Moore is one of several A-list Hollywood actresses to appear in the upcoming 2017 Pirelli Calendar. The calendar, an annual publication since 1963 by the tire manufacturing company, is typically given as a corporate gift to certain Pirelli customers and celebrities.

This year, the calendar, titled “Emotional,” was photographed by Peter Lindbergh. Moore joins Jessica Chastain, Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Helen Mirren, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlotte Rampling, Lea Seydoux, Uma Thurman, Alicia Vikander, Kate Winslet, Robin Wright, Zhang Ziyi and Anastasia Ignatova in a series of provocative, “raw” photos that capture the beauty of the women. “I walk in with no makeup on and wet hair and [Lindberg] said, ‘No no no, you look perfect,’” says Moore in a behind-the-scenes video.
