Saturday, December 10 marks the return of the annual Oysterponds PTA Holiday Auction to Poquatuck Hall in Orient Village. Visitors can browse a selection of almost 100 prizes including a Sony PlayStation VR headset, Amazon Echo and other fabulous prizes. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $1, $5 or $10. Complimentary coffee, hot chocolate and mini-muffins will be provided by Hampton Coffee from 11:30 a.m. until supplies run out. The PTA hopes to reach a fundraising goal of $5,000. Speaking of raffles, the East End Classic Boat Society will hold its annual raffle drawing and reception in Amagansett on Saturday, December 10. Visitors to the event from 3 – 5 p.m. in the Hartjen-Richardson Community Boat Shop, behind the Maritime Museum, can view a variety of boats at the facility where members build and restore wooden craft of traditional design. This year’s raffle prize is a 13-foot Pooduck skiff by designer Joel White. Also on display is next year’s raffle boat undergoing construction: a sail-equipped Sunshine tender. Southampton Soap Company’s Holiday Gift Show will be back for its third year at The Farmhouse at 832 Scuttle Hole Road in Water Mill.
