Christie Brinkley and Her Kids Featured Among People's 'Most Beautiful'

The Hamptons’ most iconic supermodel, Christie Brinkley, and her three children landed a spot in People magazine’s 2017 “Most Beautiful” issue on Wednesday, April 19—though it officially hits stands today, Friday, April 21.

In its pages, Brinkley is featured with Alexa Ray Joel, her 31-year-old daughter from second husband Billy Joel; as well as Jack Brinkley Cook (originally named Jack Paris Taubman), her 21-year-old son who was fathered by third hubby Richard Taubman and adopted later by fourth husband Peter Cook—hence the name change; and Sailor Brinkley Cook, her 18-year-old daughter with Cook.

A proud mom, Brinkley shared the news on Tuesday by posting a picture of their page on Instagram, writing, “Thank you People magazine for including my loving family in your much anticipated #peoplesmostbeautiful issue. I promise we will try not to let it go to our heads!” She also thanked the magazine for including her three beautiful children and reminded fans that she would be taking over People’s Instagram stories with “My Most Beautiful Day” on Wednesday.

Alexa Ray Joel, a singer-songwriter like her dad, also shared on Instagram (@alexarayjoel), noting, “If there’s any constant worth cherishing in this crazy world, it’s FAMILY. Thank you dearly for the honor of featuring us… hey, I’ll take any excuse to be with my three guardian angels!”

In addition to the People page, Brinkley shared two behind the scenes images of the “Most Beautiful” photo shoot on Thursday. In the caption of the first image, she writes, “Behind the scenes with People magazine’s ‘Most Beautiful’ issue and my family. Every day I’m with my family is a beautiful day.” Her youngest daughter posted similar behind the scenes pics on her Instagram, @sailorbrinkleycook, in the form of a two-photo story.

People magazine’s 2017 “Most Beautiful” issue is out now. Actress Julia Roberts was named this year’s World’s Most Beautiful Woman. Amagansett’s Gwyneth Paltrow received the honor in 2013, and we’re eagerly anticipating the year another Hamptonite gets this vaunted title.
