Bethenny Frankel to Appear on 'Shark Tank'

We can’t wait to hear the puns for this one.

Real Housewives of New York City star and Hamptonite Bethenny Frankel has announced that she will be joining the upcoming season of ABC’s Shark Tank. Frankel, who frequently promotes her super-successful Skinnygirl brand on RHONY, shared the news on Twitter. “I guess I am a shark after all,” she tweeted (there’s the first pun). “Watch out @ABCSharkTank – comin’ for u this fall. Are you as excited as I am?”

Shark Tank is a series in which entrepreneurs make business presentations to a panel of “shark investors” who choose whether or not to invest. So far, Frankel will only appear as a guest shark on the show. Other guests this upcoming season include Yankees star/J-Lo paramour Alex Rodriguez and Spanx founder Sara Blakely. With her strong personality, who knows if she’ll make such an impression that she’ll stick around for a permanent stay? Frankel is definitely qualified to be on the show—she sold Skinnygirl in 2011 for an estimated $100 million!

Frankel is also set to star in a house flipping show with her pal and real estate expert Fredrik Eklund.
