Dan's GrillHampton 2017: Team Hamptons Takes the Big Win
Dan’s GrillHampton 2017 was a tasty hit! Hosted by Robert Irvine, celebrity chef, entrepreneur, philanthropist, Founder of the Robert Irvine Foundation and Chef/Owner of Robert Irvine’s Public House at the Tropicana Las Vegas, GrillHampton pitted Team Hamptons against Team NYC in a grill-off for the ages.
Pat LaFrieda Meat Purveyors sponsored the Judges Choice Award, which went to Baron’s Cove for Chef Matty Boudreau‘s Baby Back Rib’wich: sweet BBQ glazed baby back ribs, pickled red onions and cucumbers on a potato bun with charred corn and avocado salad.
Grassi & Co. was the official tabulator of this year’s People’s Choice Award winner, sponsored by Blue Moon. Lou Grassi was excited to announce that Black Tap had won. Repping Team NYC, Black Tap had craft burgers by Chef Joe Isidori with Greg Norman Wagyu Beef, house buttermilk-dill, blue cheese & arugula and Mexican street corn.
