The Southampton Village Zoning Board of Appeals will discuss plans to transform the historic Village Latch Inn into condos. The Beechwood Organization’s Steven Dubb and George Benedict of Southampton paid $23 million for the property and are planning 24 town-homes on the 5.5 acre Hill Street Property. The Zoning Board of Appeals must consider the density, environmental impact and other issues that could arise. The board would also have to give permission to change the use of the property from one non-conforming use to another. Dubb says that they are working to allay any concerns and satisfying the board.
