The Art Of Jewelry
Save the date. The first Hamptons Jewelry Show is coming to town this August.
Rick Friedman, the founder of the Art Hamptons and Design Hamptons fairs, is now turning a focus to the art of jewelry.
“In my past art fairs, we have discovered artists that work on canvas and paper. At this fair, we uncover gifted artists from around the world that work in a very different media: gold, silver, and stones. They create wearable, eye-popping works of art,” said Friedman.
The Hamptons Jewelry Show will premiere on Thursday, August 2, and run through Sunday, August 5, at the Southampton Elks fairgrounds. The show is limited to 60 local, national, and international dealers and designers.
Fairgoers can discover vintage and designer collections in all product categories. Think bracelets, earrings, necklaces, chokers, rings, watches (for men and women), ethnic collections, brooches, cufflinks, hairpins, slave bracelets, anklets, cameos, lockets, pendants, art jewelry, and collectible vintage handbags.
The best part? Attendees will have the opportunity to interact and buy directly from dealers and designers, eliminating the retail markup.
The show’s opening night preview will benefit The Ellen Hermanson Breast Cancer Center at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital. There are many other special events planned for the fair, with details to come.
