Palmer Vineyards
It’s months away but . . . plan now to rose all day at the vineyards’ Summer Rosé and Bubbly Fest on July 28. The event will feature music, over 25 wineries, specialty foods, and light hors d’oeuvres. Don’t forget to wear your best pink outfit, and dance on the lawn whenever you get the chance. There will be two sessions — 12 to 3 PM and 4 to 7 PM. Tickets run $55 to $115. For more information, www.palmervineyards.com.
Martha Clara Vineyards
An opening reception will be held for artists-in-residence Maggie Carine and Jess Hoyt on Friday, April 6, from 7 to 9 PM. The event will feature light fare, live music by Mike Duca and wine, of course! Free admission. For more information, visit www.marthaclaravineyards.com.
Pindar Vineyards
Saturday is the last day for complimentary Riesling and cookies with a tasting flight. The event runs from 11 AM to 5:30 PM. It is also the last day for barrel tastings, from 1 to 3 PM. Go behind the scenes, touring the winery’s production facilities, and experience a tasting directly from the barrel, as well as hors d’oeuvres.
In April, enjoy a complimentary taste of Spring Splendor with a paid tasting flight. Spring winery tours will also be held on Saturdays throughout April from 1 to 3 PM. Go inside the barrel and tank rooms and view the production facility to find out how your favorite vino is made.
Tickets are $20 per person ($15 wine club), which include a select tasting of five wines in the tasting room after the tour. Payment is required with reservation. For more information, visit www.pindar.net.
Starting next Sunday, you will be able to enjoy some live music in the tasting room from 1 to 5 PM. Kicking off the series is Jen Kane.
Looking to the future, raise a glass with your mother on Mother’s Day, May 13, and receive a free stemless wine glass with chocolates as a gift with any purchase. The event runs from 11 AM to 6 PM.
