Dan’s Rosé Soirée 2018 Returns to the Hamptons Memorial Day Weekend

Summer starts here! Forget all that white stuff we saw out there earlier today, we’re ready to launch the season of sun and fun with the pink stuff. So let’s raise a glass, or three, as we proudly announce that Dan’s Taste of Summer is back for another season in the Hamptons, dishing out the premier food-and-wine events on the East End—and we’re kicking it all off on Memorial Day Weekend with the second annual Dan’s Rosé Soirée presented by Porsche.

Yes, summer 2018 will officially begin on Sunday, May 27 at the Southampton Arts Center with the largest gathering of rosé wines the Hamptons has ever seen—more than three dozen will be flowing!—plus tastings from some 20 of the hottest restaurants in the Hamptons and New York City, craft cocktails and beers, decadent desserts and more.

This exquisite evening under the tent in the heart of Southampton Village will feature pours from local and international rosé favorites alike, including Anna de Codorniu, Brooklyn Oenology, Clovis Point, Jamesport Vineyards, Macari Vineyards and Winery, Martha Clara Vineyards, Montauk Wine Company, Pugliese Vineyards, Raphael Vineyard and Winery, Rosé Piscine, Wölffer Estate Vineyard and more.

Now, what would wines be without fabulous foods with which to pair them? Very lonely, of course, and we can’t have that. So an all-star lineup of chefs at Dan’s Rosé Soirée will be serving tastes both savory and sweet, including Calissa, Canal Café, Fat Ass Fudge, Maison Vivienne, Oreya, Peconic Gold Oysters, The Preston House & Hotel, Saaz, Sandbar, Southampton Social Club, Spiro’s Restaurant & Lounge, Sydney’s “Taylor” Made Cuisine and Union Cantina—and there will be more to come.

Plus, guests will enjoy premium spirits from such favorites as Tito’s Handmade Vodka, delicious beverages from Bai, beer from Corona and Blue Moon, and other treats.

The rosé-fueled revelry will again continue into the night with the return of the most talked-about post-event bash of the year—the Rosé After Dark VIP After Party Presented by The Palm by Whispering Angel. There will be more wine, more cocktails, more food and more big hair and big hits as everyone rocks with the ultimate ’80s band, The Ronald Reagans, who will be back this year by overwhelming demand.

So put away the boots and shovels. Break out the sunscreen and wine glasses. It’s the season of Rosé All Day…and all night…and then some.

Dan’s Rosé Soirée presented by Porsche is Sunday, May 27, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Southampton Arts Center. GA tickets are $140.
