Heavenly Merchandise
Spring gala season in New York City has all the makings of a great night out — party guests are dressed to the nines, the champagne flows freely, and the dance floor is always full. Yet, among the hundreds of worthy causes holding their annual celebrations, it’s the Metropolitan Museum of Art and its Costume Institute that garners the most attention thanks to its sheer star power.
