Spring Street Fair

There was plenty of food and family fun at East Hampton Village’s second annual Spring Street Fair on Newtown Lane on Saturday. The East Hampton Chamber of Commerce and Executive Director Steven Ringel invited attendees to enjoy a day of shopping goods from local vendors. There was something for everyone, whether your interest was in creative arts, eating and drinking, face painting, jewelry, ARF’s adoption van, community activism, or publishing and broadcasting.

East Hampton Village Mayor Paul Rickenbach expressed his thanks to the Chamber, and his pride in belonging to such a wonderful community. Proclamations from the East Hampton Chamber were presented to the valedictorian and salutatorian of this year’s East Hampton High School graduating class.

The fair featured the launch of the new “Energize East Hampton” initiative, which plans to “provide one-stop shopping for local home and business owners looking for free or discounted energy efficiency and solar offerings.” Representatives from GreenLogic, Long Island Green Homes, and South Fork Peak Savers answered questions about the new opportunities.
