A Pink Party
A Pink Party to benefit the Ellen Hermanson Foundation will be held on Wednesday, May 2, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, at Rocco A. Carriero Wealth Partners in Southampton. There is no cost to attend and there will be opportunities to support the foundation and its work in the community. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
Hope for Depression
Art New York has made the Joe Namath Foundation and the Hope for Depression Research Foundation co-beneficiaries of the art fair’s VIP Preview on Thursday, May 3, from 2 to 5 PM at Pier 94 in New York City.
The subject matter of many artists over the past six decades, Pro Football Hall of Fame Quarterback, Super Bowl III MVP Joe Namath will return to the greatest city for the arts. His mission is to create awareness and raise funds for his newly formed namesake foundation.
Philanthropist and avid art collector Audrey Gruss founded the Hope for Depression Research Foundation in 2006 in memory of her mother, Hope, who suffered from clinical depression. Laughter Saves Lives
All are invited to An Evening of Comedy featuring first responder comedians from Laughter Saves Lives. Help the Kent Animal Shelter celebrate its 50th Anniversary with some hilarity on Friday, May 4, from 7 to 10 PM at Hotel Indigo in Riverhead. Proceeds will benefit homeless pets at the shelter. There will be snacks, cash bar, Chinese auction, and 50/50 raffle.

Cinco de Mayo
A Cinco de Mayo Community Outreach Party will be held to benefit Project MOST, a non-profit organization that provides an after-school program at both the John M. Marshall Elementary School and the Springs School. The event takes place on Saturday, May 5, at 6 PM at The Neighborhood House in East Hampton. There will be Latin and American foods, beverages, 50/50 raffle, prizes, and games for the children. Don’t miss a live band and Latin DJ dance music and vocalist. New Hope Rising
Jeff Nichols and The White Room Gallery in Bridgehampton are hosting an art exhibit and comedy show to raise money and gain awareness of the opioid epidemic. Proceeds will be donated to New Hope Rising. Last year’s comedy show raised money for the Southampton fellowship program, to educate doctors and increase sensitivity of the problems of addiction.
The art fundraiser will take place at the gallery on Saturday, May 5, from 6 to 8 PM. The show will run through May 13. On Saturday, May 12, the comedy show will be held at 230 Elm in Southampton. To buy tickets or make a donation, call Nichols at 631-466-7223.
Pet Celebration Day
The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons Alumni Reunion/Pet Celebration Day will be held on Saturday, May 5, from 10 AM to noon. ARF has planned a special morning of fun-filled activities and goodies for you and your pets.
Join in at the ARF Adoption Center in Wainscott. There will be Dreesen’s Donut Truck and Hampton Coffee Company coffee, a sing-along with Sandy Rapp, “Ask the Behaviorist” with ARF’s Dr. Barbara Pezzanite, samples of Ollie Dog Food, and prizes awarded in dog agility and obedience competitions.

Derby Party
The Hampton Bays Historical & Preservation Society is hosting a Kentucky Derby fundraiser on Saturday, May 5. The event will be held under the tent at 116 W Montauk Highway from 4 to 7 PM. CTREE 5K
The CTREE Giddy-Up 5K Race will be held on Sunday, May 6, at Sagg Main Beach in Sagaponack at 8:30 PM. Run, walk, skip, cartwheel, trot, or jog over the beautiful seaside course. Paws In The Park
The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation hosts its second annual fundraising dog walk and picnic, Paws In The Park, on Saturday, May 19, from 11 AM to 3 PM in Red Creek Park in Hampton Bays.
All are welcome to come for a family day of fun, shopping, dancing, doggie fashion show, and lots of prizes and goodie bags. Live music will be performed by Hamptons favorite, New Life Crisis. Food trucks will offer a variety of tasty treats, and local vendors will showcase their handcrafted wares, which will be available for purchase. Face painters will be on hand too.
Bring lawn chairs and blankets for picnicking. Food vendors will include Noah’s on the Road and Whole Le Crepe.

Walk at Tanger
Northwell Health’s East End Walk will take place on May 20 at Tanger Outlets in Riverhead. Registration begins at 8:30 AM and the walk starts at 10 AM. The walk is a fundraiser for cardiac care and women’s health. Sign up and invite your friends, family, and colleagues to join on the path toward better health. Funds raised go directly to Peconic Bay Medical Center. The top fundraiser for the East End Walk will receive a $1000 Tanger gift card.
Sebonack Tournament
Southampton Historical Museum presents its Sebonack Golf Club Tournament benefiting the museum on Tuesday, May 22, starting at noon. The event starts with a buffet of savory foods and sweets, followed by the tournament. The event will end with a cocktail party. The cost is $750 per person, with limited admission.
