Library Children’s Fair

On Sunday afternoon, August 12, at the “555” field in Amagansett, the East Hampton Library held its annual Children’s Fair, a day of free family fun that always follows the library’s major annual Authors Night event.

There was something for everyone — carnival games, amusement park rides, hot dogs and brownies served by the East Hampton Lions Club, ice cream, zany magic shows, face painting, and more.

Children had the opportunity to meet the creators of the books they have on their bookshelves at home, and to buy the latest titles to add to their collections.
