LTV Exec Director Resigns; Search Begins
Morgan Duke Vaughan, who has helmed LTV for the past three-and-a-half years, has resigned from the local television station’s board of directors to return to her first love: theater.
“During my tenure, LTV has risen in trustworthiness and stature within our community, has become much more visible to the community we serve, and has developed deep and abiding relationships with members of government, community activists and artists, and with not-for-profit organizations and the local schools,” Vaughan penned to the board. “I appreciate all of the opportunities LTV has granted me in both personal and professional growth and I hope I have reciprocated in kind.”
“The Board of Directors is so grateful for the tremendous asset Morgan has been to LTV giving her boundless energy and commitment to our efforts,” said board chair Diana Weir. “She will be missed and we give her our unending gratitude wishing her God Speed in her next chapter.”
Vaughan vows to stay on board until a new executive director is picked, in order to ensure a smooth transition.
