The enormous numbered pots of clam chowder were ready at 11 AM on Saturday, October 6, as attendees lined up on Main Street in Montauk with their mugs to sample and judge chowders from Montauk’s eateries, for the official start of the two-day 37th annual Fall Festival. Visitors enjoyed food, Long Island beers and wines, crab races, a rock wall, live music in the gazebo, and plenty more.
