Accident On Main Street

At roughly 12:40 AM on the morning of November 10, members of the East Hampton Fire Department’s “White Knights” Heavy Rescue Squad were called to the bus stop on Main Street, East Hampton in front of The Palm at Huntting Inn for a report of a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.

Arriving units found a Mercedes four-door sedan that had rear-ended a Hampton Jitney bus, and proceeded to use extrication tools to remove the occupants from the Mercedes. All units were back in service by 2 AM, and the East Hampton Village Police Department is investigating.
