Tadashi Shoji Partners With SWCRF
Fashion designer Tadashi Shoji will once again partner with the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation in support of World Cancer Day on February 4. Shoji is participating in the SWCRF Pay It Forward fundraising campaign for the fifth year in a row.
“It is an honor to continue an ongoing partnership with the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation. Finding a cure for cancer is something I hold dear to my heart. Their dedication to cancer research has made them pioneers to eliminating the disease,” said Shoji.
To help raise funds, Shoji has created an exclusive credit card holder. This credit card holder’s purple exterior represents World Cancer Day’s official color.
“This year, I will stand proudly with SWCRF and support World Cancer Day by donating 20 percent of the total amount raised from the purchase of the credit card holder,” said Shoji.
“Tadashi Shoji has been a longtime friend of the SWCRF and an important partner in our efforts to fund cutting-edge cancer research that is deepening scientific knowledge of this devastating disease,” said Samuel Waxman, MD, SWCRF founder and CEO. “We are grateful for his continued generosity and to everyone who purchases the exclusively designed Pay it Forward credit card holder.”
The limited-edition credit card holder will be available for purchase until the end of February. You can find it on www.tadashishoji.com for $40. The lifestyle brand has been worn by Michelle Obama, Octavia Spencer, Molly Sims, Olivia Holt, and Kate Hudson.
SWCRF hosts its annual Hamptons Happening event each summer in Bridgehampton. The foundation has a mission to eradicate cancer by funding cutting-edge research. Visit www.waxmancancer.org.
