Downes Joins Adam Miller Group
Adam Miller Group, with offices in Bridgehampton, announced that Sag Harbor real estate attorney Dennis Downes, Esq., has joined the law firm.

Amster-Young Joins Sabrina Levine
Sabrina Levine Communications announced the addition of award-winning industry vet, Karen Amster-Young to the strategic advisory team.
Amster-Young, who founded and ran her eponymous agency for many years, will be focusing on new business development the lifestyle and entertainment-focused PR firm, now in its fourth year of business. Long-standing clients include luxury vintage brand What Goes Around Comes Around, renowned relationship expert Rori Sassoon, and Invivo wines. SLC most recently announced Invivo’s new partnership with Sarah Jessica Parker.
One of the first clients Karen and Sabrina secured together under the SLC umbrella is The Surf Lodge in Montauk. SLC is gearing up for its second season working with the well-known Surf brand and will be focusing on promoting all aspects of The Surf Lodge, including its wellness programming, cuisine, new developments, and brand partnerships.
Karen Amster-Young is also a writer and her interviews have been published in numerous media outlets, predominantly in the Hamptons. She is also the author of “The 52 Weeks.”
Town Taps Business Advisory Committee Applicants
The Riverhead Town Board adopted a resolution to create and authorize the appointment of members to a new Business Advisory Committee.
This 13-member committee will exchange ideas and advise the board on matters pertaining to business in the Town of Riverhead. Ideal applicants will have a strong interest in promoting business, knowledge of the town code, experience running a business, and have a strong passion for improving their community.
Riverhead residents 18 and older knowledgeable in the related subject are invited to apply, and should submit cover letters and resumes by close of business on May 6 to townclerk@townofriverheadny.gov. For further information, call the Supervisor’s Office at 631-727-3200 ext. 654.
Sag Chamber Mixer
The Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce will hold a spring networking event on Thursday, April 25, from 6 to 9 PM at Page at 63 Main.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to get to know and socialize with business professionals in the Sag Harbor area. Learn how to use the Chamber’s advertising and promotional calendar to grow your business,” read a press release.

Montauk Businesses Sought For May Job Fair
A job fair co-sponsored by the Montauk Chamber of Commerce and the Montauk Library is being planned for May 11. Currently, the chamber seeks about 20 chamber member businesses to sign up for the free space, according to the organization.
“It’s no secret that Montauk businesses need additional staff during the spring, summer, and early fall visitor and vacation home owner seasons,” said Chamber executive director Laraine Creegan.
The fair will be advertised to job seekers in and around the East End. These opportunities will be for part-time, full- time, seasonal and year-round and community service jobs. E-Waste Recycling Day
GeekHampton in Sag Harbor is celebrating Earth Day by offering an e-waste recycling event to the community.
GeekHampton has partnered with KAD Electronics Recycling to accept used computers (Mac and PC) and peripherals, monitors, printers, copiers, and more. (See geekhampton.com/ewaste-recycling for a full list of accepted items).
Items will be accepted Friday, April 19, Saturday, April 20, and Monday, April 22, between 10 AM and 6 PM at GeekHampton, 34 Bay Street, Sag Harbor. A $10 donation is requested to help offset the cost of recycling electronics.
The Spur Events
The Spur East, a coworking space at 44 Three Mile Harbor in East Hampton, offers complimentary high tea every Wednesday from 3:30 to 5 PM for members and their guests.
