Paramount Highlights
The Paramount Theater in Huntington has become a top venue for live entertainment since opening in September of 2011. Live musical acts, comedy, and even boxing makes its way to the stage. Through Live Nation and Ticketmaster, crowds make their way through the doors of what has been dubbed a top worldwide club venue by Pollstar Magazine. And while it’s not on the East End, it’s still in Suffolk County, and draws crowds from this area.
The venue of 1573 capacity has standing, hybrid, or fully-seated configurations with a large upper-level dance floor, fixed side loge-balcony seating, a mezzanine level, and a “Skybar.” What takes guests especially by surprise is the VIP Founder’s Room, modeled as a 1920s speakeasy with hidden doors to private rooms — envision a bookcase that rotates into your own little VIP hideaway. With all The Paramount has to offer, it’s no wonder it has a lineup worth heading up island for.
