‘Plastic’ Book Signing With Strausser

Playwright Frank Strausser will host a book launch event for his debut novel “Plastic,” at the Spur’s Southampton location at 280 Elm Street, next to the train station, on Saturday, August 3, at 6 PM.

Dr. Stephen Greenberg, a renowned plastic surgeon with offices in Southampton, will co-host with Strausser. The two will discuss “Plastic,” which is a thriller based on beauty, art, and conspiracy, and Strausser will sign books.

Strausser’s “bold, stylish, and poignant” debut novel “Plastic” delivers an edgy tale of psychological suspense that explores the ephemeral and diabolical world inside Hollywood as “the Capital of Good Looks,” while focusing on a Hollywood conspiracy involving celebrity-on-celebrity assault and plastic surgery, “with plenty of salacious backstory.”

The playwright gained attention during the three-month run of his stage comedy “Psycho Therapy” at the Cherry Lane Theater in New York City, along with other plays in LA and London’s West End.
